DESCRIPTION Marketing & Communications Sr. Manager provides strategic media oversight, public relations management, consultation, and communication management. This individual is responsible for the Mosaic reputation management strategy, including development of earned media programs, corporate marketing, and stakeholder communication programs that position the company appropriately and strengthen its image and brand. RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Functions: Marketing: Develop a progressive marketing and brand awareness strategy to maximize Mosaic’s exposure to key stakeholder audiences and position us optimally to drive engagement from potential clients, associates, and investors. Leverage innovative tactics to promote Mosaic’s services, capabilities, thought leadership and expertise; develop materials and coordinate work as needed to support marketing-related initiatives. Measure and report on outcomes and adjust strategies as needed. PR and media relations : Leverage traditional and innovative earned media and public relations tactics (in partnership with our PR agency) to promote the company’s successes, position executives as industry leaders and thought leaders, promote the company’s thought leadership products and successes to advance marketing and business objectives. Develop materials as needed to execute. Measure and report on outcomes and adjust strategies as needed. Lead and manage day to day relationship and communication with our PR agency. Brand strength: Promote and strengthen the Mosaic brand; ensure brand tone, voice, value proposition and other brand-related messages and visual identity are consistently applied throughout all external communication channels, digital applications, and marketing materials, and major initiatives led by communicators in other parts of the business. Trusted advisor: Serve as a trusted advisor to Business Intelligence, Client Development, and Business Development teams to further their efforts to build client and prospective client relationships through marketing efforts. Social media: Co-create and co-execute a social media strategy with the internal communications, creative, CST and HR teams; leverage social channels appropriately with compelling storytelling and content to amplify Mosaic’s brand, value proposition, and employee value proposition; and to engage associates, prospective associates, and clients. Collaborate with other key stakeholders and content creators across the organization to leverage campaigns, source new content, and ensure consistency in the corporate and client narrative. Measure and report on outcomes and adjust strategies as needed. Website: Ensure content and messaging are current and accurate at all times; collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure content meets business needs and maximizes SEO benefits; monitor site performance and analytics; work with designated agencies and IT too. Awards: own industry awards submission process end to end partnering with key stakeholders (client service, creative, strategy, etc). Pro-actively manage awards calendar. Recommend and align with senior leadership on show participation, clients and categories. Create and manage annual awards budget. QUALIFICATIONS Work Experience Requirements: 3-5 years’ of directly related experience in Communication, Marketing, Digital/Social media marketing and/or Integrated Communication. Proven experience planning, monitoring, and managing departmental budget. Proven superior organization skills. Proven strong written and oral communication skills. Proven exceptional writing skills, well-versed in AP Style Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements: Superior knowledge of marketing concepts, tools, and techniques, including modern or emerging channels and marketing productivity tools. Ability to develop productive and collaborative relationships with internal leaders, including executives, thought leaders, and opinion leaders as well as media relationships and industry specific publications. Self-motivated; able to make sound decisions based on available information.
