Job Title: Public Relations Manager Department: Marketing Reports to: SVP of Marketing Solutions Effective Date: June 2024 Pay Band Job Summary: The Public Relations Manager will be responsible for leading Stirista’s Public Relations efforts and developing and executing communication strategies to enhance our reputation and brand. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of media relations, crafting compelling content, organizing PR events, and handling crisis communications. Duties/Responsibilities: Create and implement comprehensive PR strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives. Lead, mentor, and manage the PR team, ensuring alignment with overall communication strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and other media contacts. Develop and manage crisis communication plans, prepare statements, and handle media inquiries during crises. Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, articles, blog posts, and other PR materials. Plan and coordinate PR events, including press conferences, product launches, and media tours. Ensure consistent and accurate brand messaging across all communication channels. Track media coverage and measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to senior management. Work closely with marketing, advertising, and executive teams to ensure cohesive and integrated communication efforts. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote and protect the company’s brand and reputation. Required Skills/Abilities: Ensure alignment with overall communication strategies. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to think strategically and creatively. Familiarity with media monitoring and analysis tools. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public relations Experience in MarTech and AdTech greatly preferred. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds at times.
