Job Description Sales Manager We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager with experience in Distribution Sales to join our dynamic and expanding team In this role, you will spearhead efforts to drive sales growth, foster enduring customer relationships, and lead a motivated sales team to meet revenue goals effectively. The Sales Manager will also collaborate closely with the marketing team to craft engaging promotional campaigns and create impactful sales materials, utilizing comprehensive market analysis and competitive insights. Job Type: Full Time, On-site Responsibilities for the Sales Manager: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the building materials, lumber, and construction supplies market. Lead and mentor a sales team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to maximize their productivity and effectiveness. Occasionally travel between store locations to meet with Sales teams and operations staff. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and construction professionals to generate new business opportunities and foster customer loyalty. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns and sales materials that effectively showcase the company's product offerings and competitive advantages. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and market expansion. Oversee the sales process, from lead generation to order fulfillment, ensuring seamless coordination with internal departments and timely delivery of products to customers. Analyze sales data and prepare reports for management, providing insights and recommendations to enhance sales performance and market positioning. Requirements of the Sales Manager: Minimum 5 years of Sales and Management experience in the Lumber , Construction , and Building Material industries. Highly knowledgeable in Building Materials and Construction Supplies . Demonstrated sales success over a long period. Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop salespeople. Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
